The Aged & Disability Services team is seeking qualified Community Care Workers for both temporary part-time and casual positions.


 

Community Care Workers provide individual assistance and care to older people, and people with a disability and their carers, which assists them to live independently in their own homes and in their local community.

 

As a Community Care Worker, you will enjoy:

  • working autonomously and locally and in a secure and growing industry, 
  • working with a variety of clients in their own homes and making a difference in the community
  • have access to competitive wages, including paid travel time between jobs 
  • work up to 50 hours per fortnight, depending on employee availability
  • receive a comprehensive induction to the role and the Shire
  • receive regular training and ongoing support

Applicants must have the capacity to lift and carry items as the duties are physically demanding. You will also have a current Victorian Driver's Licence and access to a car and mobile phone. A certificate III in HACC, Aged Care or equivalent is mandatory. You must hold a current Working with Children Check and be prepared to undertake a Australian Criminal History Check and a Functional Capacity Evaluation (physical).
